Solar Technology Specialist

Solar technology (converting sunlight into electricity) is set to transform the way we power our world. Futurists have calculated that in 112 hours—that’s less than five days—the sun provides as much energy as is contained in all proven reserves of oil, coal, and natural gas on Earth. Capturing this massive energy through solar technologies will allow us to generate electricity which is much needed to power our homes, schools and businesses.

Solar technology specialists work with solar power technologies in various ways. They may own land in the countryside where they manage a large spread of solar grids, to sell the harvested power to stations and other communities. Or they may work as consultants in cities and other urban spaces, helping building owners to design, build, and maintain solar panels. Solar technology specialists will use a broad range of skills, from engineering to entrepreneurship, to keep the lights on in an environmentally-friendly way.
